Whats Been Done: |

Control arms, spindle and frame where individualy removed and reconditioned | All new bushings, ball joints, steering, brakes, springs and shocks. | New master cylinder and reconditioned booster. |
New custom made solid brake lines. | New frame bushings installed. Frame aligned to under 1/8" GM accepted tolerance. Frame bolts were torqued to specs. Re-Checked after 180 miles driven. Under carraige is immaculte. | |
This is top of rear shock tower. Metal is thick and rust free as new. | Almost ready for engine and tranny install. Lots of planning and searching for the correct motor mounts to convert back to it's originally equiped 400 V8. | |

Entire rear end reconditioned. Gears were cleaned and inspected for any signs of wear. There was no signs of metal debris found in the gear differential. | Flush, clean and fill differential.. Axles were removed and inspected for any signs of stress or fatigue. Axle bearings replaced. Breather tube replaced. |

First Road Test

2 small and slight cigerette burns (not burned through) near the white and black puck on condole. The rest of the dash and interior are mint condition. | A Ram Air hood was installed (have original hood). It's color is slightly off from the body. Not detectable in the sunlight. The front clip requires to be realigned 5/8". Will do this during winter storage. | |
New Firebird emblem was installed on nose. | New lower door chrome moldings were installed. | |
Please note oil stains are NOT from this car. | The motor is a 400 6,6 L. The block is a 73. The heads and intake are 72. It is an older rebuild with aproximately 40,000 miles. | |
The Turbo 400 attached was also rebuild about 40,000 miles. It has no issues at all, and together they are very responsive and mechanically sound. | The motor runs cool and very strong. | |
